Now that you have received the invitation email and clicked “Create Your Account” from the email link, you will be brought to the registration page. This will allow you to create an account with your name, email, and password. Use at least 8 characters for your password. We suggest at least one capital letter and one symbol or number within your password for better security.

Player Cards Profile

Once you have created an account, you will be able to view your personal player cards screen within the AthletiFi dashboard. Here, you will be able to see a preview of what player cards you can access. This shows you a list that includes your player card, along with any other player cards that others have shared with you. Later during this guide, you will learn how to share access to your player card so that other people can access your player profile page and information.

Player Ratings (Snapshot)

In order for you to understand the player ratings module, let's first explain how this is populated. AthletiFi Select matches were filmed during tournament play. This video footage is analyzed for objective match information, like passes/goals/tackles, and this data is extracted from the video footage. We then take this data and process it through our proprietary statistics algorithm in order to generate the following five player rating metrics: skills, attacking, physical, mentality, and defending.

Curious to learn more about our ratings? See below for a brief description on each:

Skill: The skill rating reflects the player's technical abilities with the ball. It takes into account how well they dribble past opponents, make accurate passes to teammates, and maintain control of the ball under pressure. This rating is based on the player's success rate in dribbling, passing accuracy, and their ability to keep possession of the ball throughout the game. A higher skill rating indicates that the player is confident and proficient in handling the ball.

Attacking: The attacking rating focuses on the player's contribution to the team's offense. It considers their ability to make accurate crosses into the penalty area, take shots on goal, and create scoring opportunities for themselves and their teammates. This rating is calculated using the player's crossing accuracy, shooting precision, and the frequency of their offensive actions in the attacking third of the field. A strong attacking rating suggests that the player is actively involved in creating and finishing scoring chances.

Goalkeeping: The goalkeeping rating is an exclusive measurement for players in the goalkeeper position. It evaluates the player's performance in key goalkeeping duties, such as handling the ball, kicking accuracy, positioning, and reflexes. This rating takes into account the player's success rate in catching and punching the ball, the accuracy of their goal kicks, their positioning during aerial challenges, and their ability to make saves. A strong goalkeeping rating suggests that the player is reliable in protecting the goal and is confident in commanding their penalty area.

Physical: The physical rating assesses the player's physical attributes and how they use them in the game. It takes into account their success in long and medium-range passing, which requires both strength and accuracy. Additionally, it considers their effectiveness in aerial duels, such as heading the ball, and their ability to score from long-range shots. A high physical rating indicates that the player can use their physical strength and power to influence the game.

Mentality: The mentality rating evaluates the player's psychological strengths on the field. It looks at their assertiveness in making forward passes, their composure under pressure, and their ability to draw fouls from opponents. This rating is based on the player's success rate in attempting forward passes, the frequency of fouls they receive, and how well they maintain their composure throughout the game. A strong mentality rating suggests that the player is confident, makes bold decisions, and can handle the mental challenges of the game.

Defending: The defending rating assesses the player's contribution to the team's defense. It considers their ability to make successful clearances, interventions, tackles, and win ground duels against opponents. This rating is calculated based on the frequency and success rate of the player's defensive actions. A high defending rating indicates that the player is proactive in disrupting the opposition's attacks and is effective in regaining possession of the ball for their team.

Player Ratings (Timeline)

One particular point of interest for AthletiFi users is how a player performs over time. To show this, we incorporated a trends feature so you can see what players accomplish between matches. This progress over time can be tracked using the line graphs shown above for each player rating. Each player rating attribute is also averaged over time, so you will see how matches impact these ratings.

Invite a Guest

In order to invite other people and share access to your player profile on the AthletiFi platform, first, return to your player cards page. User Navigation (Settings)

In order to navigate through the platform, direct your attention to the upper right corner of the cards page. This is where you can access your account settings.

Within the settings page, you will be able to see your email, password, along with various other settings. Here, you will be able to change your password, control notifications settings, and more.

Invite Management

AthletiFi platform users are in full control of access privileges for their user player profile page. Within the settings page, you will see options to invite a new “guest” or person to the platform. For whatever reason, if you decide you would like to revoke someone’s access to your profile page, you can remove a specific user you have invited.

We also know that other AthletiFi player card holders may be excited to share their card with you. This gives you the ability to access their player profile, where just like for your own player profile page, you will be able to see their match history, stats, highlights, and be able to follow their athletic journey. For other players who have shared their card with you, you will list the list of cards you have access to within the “my invitations” section within account settings.

Full control of your player card access and player profile page goes both ways. If for whatever reason you no longer want to access someone’s profile, you can opt-out of updates, turn off notifications, and stop having access to their player profile.
